| Gamertag recovery i have a question, i recently recieved the RROD and got a new xbox. Now my profile no longer signs in on its own like it used to. Is it because its a new console? do i have to recover my gamertag? |

 | Make sure you've got auto signin checked, just press the 360 logo on the controller and goto your profile.

| You have to check the box like jwm2 said. You also didn't need to get a new Xbox. If you called Microsoft at 18004myxbox they would have sent you a box and fixed it for free. You would, of course, lost your Xbox for 2 weeks. When your Xbox returned, you would've gotten a free month of Xbox LIVE. |
